Professional Personal Materials

From my results I can see that I have a lot of strengths, these being;

• Teamwork, I am very good at working in/as a team

• solving problems, I can solve problems easily and I can think quickly when faced with a problem

• negotiating, I am an argumentative person and I like to get my way which helps with negotiation

• designing, I have a creative mind, questioning and many more.

• Creativity is an untapped skill of mine along with managing time and people as I have experience doing all of them

However, I also have some weaknesses, these being;

• public speaking, I do not like speaking in front of people and become nervous when I do so

• analysing, I don’t usually analyse tasks, so I am bad at it when I do have to

• giving feedback, I rarely do this and am bad at it

• networking, lack of experience has lead to this as a undeveloped skill

• listening actively, I struggle to concentrate for a long time meaning I cannot listen actively as I will get distracted

 

To improve my results, I can ask for support from those who have strengths in the skill, I can develop mine from their knowledge and experience. I will need to compare the strengths with my weaknesses and start to act upon my weaknesses, I can also ask myself why these are my weaknesses and what I do or do not like about them. Furthermore, I will need to gain some confidence and practice my public speaking skills so that it is no longer a weakness of mine. I will also need to start working on my networking skills, to do this I will use people around me to connect with other people similar to me and people who may become customers in the future.
